Sawatari — Buildings Overview (Interior)

This page provides a calm interior overview for family reference. It is intentionally non-judgmental and non-urgent. Nothing here implies renovation plans, budgets, or timelines.

Interior photos will be added later, after cleanup and preparation. For now, the goal is simply to record what spaces exist and how they connect.

1. Interior Approach (Respect First)

Interior spaces often hold personal history. Dust, stored items, and age-related wear are normal and expected. This page treats interior condition as a shared reality — not a problem and not a judgment.

2. Rooms & Zones (High-Level)

When ready, the interior can be recorded in simple room or zone groupings, based on use and flow rather than strict architectural labels.

  • Entrance / Genkan — access, storage, movement into the home
  • Main Living Area — shared space, circulation
  • Kitchen Area — water points, ventilation, daily use
  • Bedrooms / Tatami Rooms — privacy and flexibility
  • Storage Rooms — tools, seasonal items, archives
  • Bathroom / Wash Area — plumbing and moisture control

This structure can be adjusted to reflect the actual building layout. Clear flow is more important than perfect naming.

3. Safety (Only What Matters)

When the time is right, a light interior check can focus on essentials only: walkability, stability, obvious water entry, wiring concerns, and ventilation. The goal is calm clarity, not alarm.

4. Interior Photos (Later, Step-by-Step)

Interior photos will be added gently, room by room, once the family feels ready. If photos are added, they should be simple: one wide shot per room, plus one detail shot if needed (for example: ceiling, floor, water area, or visible wear).

The purpose is shared understanding and record-keeping — not presentation.

5. Linking Rooms to Buildings

If an exterior building map is created, interior rooms and zones can be referenced using simple building identifiers and room groupings.

Example: Main House (Building A) → Entrance / Living / Kitchen / Storage (labels can be refined later).

We record the inside with the same respect we show the land.
