Sawatari — Buildings Overview (Exterior)

This page provides a simple exterior overview of Sawatari’s buildings. It is written as a shared reference only. Nothing here implies plans, commitments, budgets, or timelines.

Interior photos and notes will be added later, once preparation and cleanup are complete.

1. Main House (Exterior)

The main house reflects practical family use over many years. Exterior materials, rooflines, openings, and placement show a structure that has adapted to season, weather, and daily life.

Exterior notes can be recorded calmly over time (roof condition, drainage points, visible timber wear, gutters, and access around the perimeter).

2. Outbuildings / Storage

Many rural properties hold supporting structures that are as important as the main home: storage, small sheds, workshops, and practical utility buildings. These buildings often determine what is possible later (tools, safe storage, staging areas).

For now, this page stays neutral and simple — we observe what exists and avoid assumptions.

3. Condition (External, Non-Judgment)

Exterior condition is recorded without judgment. Weathering, moss, rust, and settling are normal for older properties and do not represent failure or embarrassment.

When the time is right, a simple exterior checklist can be added here: safety, water entry points, structural red flags, and priority maintenance items.

4. Practical Use Today

Some buildings may remain usable for seasonal visits and light maintenance even before any larger decisions are made. This page is designed to support that quiet reality — small steps first, decisions later.

5. What This Page Is (and Is Not)

This page exists to hold shared observations. It is not a renovation plan and not a direction of travel.

  • It is: a calm exterior overview for family reference.
  • It is not: a proposal, estimate, or timeline.

We document first. We decide later.
