He wāhanga tēnei hei whakanui i te hunga i noho, i mahi, i aroha, i manaaki, i poipoi, i ārahi hoki i te oranga tonutanga o Rangiwaea.
Ehara i te Ingoa Anake

He Hapori Kotahi
Ka kitea ngā tāngata o Rangiwaea i roto i ngā mahi katoa o te ao. He kaimahi pāmu, he kaihī ika, he kaiako, he kuia, he koroua, he tamariki, he kaiārahi, he ringa raupā, he kaitautoko.
Ehara tēnei wāhanga i te kohinga kōrero mō te hunga rongonui anake. Ka whai wāhi hoki ngā tāngata i noho puku engari nā rātou te hapori i whakakaha.

This chapter exists so those stories are not lost with time.

The people of Rangiwaea have filled every role imaginable— farmers, fishermen, teachers, mothers, fathers, children, leaders, workers, volunteers and neighbours.
This is not only a collection of well-known names. It also honours those whose quiet contribution helped build the strength of the community.

The generations who were raised on Rangiwaea or who have returned to maintain their connection.

Kaumātua provide the living bridge between earlier generations and the present day.
