Introduction
Te Puna Mahara o Hato Hohepa is a simple continuity kaupapa for supporting St Joseph’s Church, Matakana Island. The purpose is to help preserve the memory, history, faith connection, cemetery links, whānau stories, and community role of the church for future generations.
This is not about taking over existing mahi. It is about supporting the current stewards, strengthening communication, preserving history, and helping St Joseph’s remain a living point of connection for whānau, faith, memory, and community.

Gather, scan, organize, and protect old photos, documents, notices, records, and memories connected to St Joseph’s.
Community Communication
Create simple digital notice support for Mass, events, working bees, updates, and community reminders.
