協和木材店の木材置場には、長い年月をかけて積み重ねられてきた仕事の風景があります。
山々に囲まれた沢渡の地で、木材が届き、保管され、選ばれ、加工され、地域の家や建物へと運ばれていきます。
このギャラリーでは、木材、設備、作業風景、地域の景色、そして完成した施工例を少しずつご紹介していきます。

飾らない、ありのままの仕事場
協和木材店は、展示用に整えられた木材店ではありません。
木材が積まれ、フォークリフトが動き、トラックが出入りし、必要な材料が地域へ運ばれていく、現役の仕事場です。
長年使われてきた建物や設備、木材の積み方、作業の跡には、この場所で続いてきた仕事の歴史があります。
このギャラリーでは、過度に飾ることなく、協和木材店の日常と土地の空気をそのまま伝えていきます。
木材・在庫
杉、檜、板材、角材、構造材、造作材など、時期ごとの取扱材料をご紹介します。
加工・準備
切断、寸法確認、注文準備、積み込みなど、材料がお客様のもとへ届くまでの工程を紹介します。
配達・現場
地域の住宅、建築現場、農業施設、修理現場などへ材料を届ける様子を記録します。
施工事例
ウッドデッキ、住宅、物置、補修、庭まわりなど、木材が実際に活用された事例を掲載していきます。

The Kyowa Timber yard holds the visible record of many decades of work.
Here in Sawatari, surrounded by mountains and forest, timber arrives, is stored, selected, prepared and carried onward to local homes, farms and building sites.
This gallery will gradually introduce the timber yard, daily work, regional scenery and completed projects supported by Kyowa Timber materials.

The working centre of Kyowa Timber, where materials of many sizes and purposes are stored and prepared.

Timber selection, movement, preparation, loading and the practical routines that keep the yard operating.
The Sawatari Landscape
The Omata River, surrounding mountains, forest and changing seasons that shape the character of the business.
An Authentic Working Yard
Kyowa Timber is not a showroom arranged for display.
It is an active timber yard where materials are stacked, forklifts operate, trucks arrive and depart, and orders are prepared for customers throughout the community.
The buildings, equipment, timber stacks and marks of daily work all carry the history of a business that has remained active in this location for generations.
This gallery will present the yard honestly, without removing the character that makes it genuine.
Timber & Stock

Cutting, measuring, order preparation and loading before materials leave the yard.

A Record That Will Continue to Grow
This is not intended to be a gallery completed all at once.
New materials, daily work, local craftsmanship and seasonal views will be added gradually, creating an ongoing visual record of Kyowa Timber and its place in the Omata Valley.
Customers and local craftspeople are also welcome to contribute older photographs or images of buildings and projects made using timber supplied by Kyowa Timber.
